What a foundation curriculum includes

Pure Pro Wrestling’s published checklist connects movement, performance, refereeing, and professional habits.

Also called: PPW · curriculum · beginner · school

The school’s outline

PPW’s Level 1 PDF lists movement and grappling, pins and throws, selling, referee work, conditioning, and business topics. It is a checklist of areas to learn, not a promise that a student should perform every listed move on day one.

Turn the list into a conversation

The following is an editorial planning exercise. Bring the curriculum to your own school and mark each area as “not introduced,” “working on,” or “coach has approved progression.” Your school may teach a different order.

Three useful questions

  • Which foundations does my next skill depend on?
  • How will I demonstrate that I can repeat them consistently with a partner?
  • What non-physical work should I practice between classes?

Avoid checklist racing

Being able to name a move and being ready to give or receive it are different achievements. Ask for feedback on consistency and communication before adding complexity. The drill collection offers focused observation tasks to support that discussion.
